Tana Mongeau’s Wedding Dress Designer Details How the By Liz Calvario? 2:22 PM PDT, July 29, 2019

It had been a night to remember for Tana Mongeau!

After a whirlwind romance, the 21-year-old YouTuber and Jake Paul got married at Graffiti House in Las vegas, nevada on Sunday — with all the bride looking ravishing in not one, but two, Glaudi by Johana Hernandez designs on her behalf wedding day.

Tana instantly fell so in love with the marriage dresses as soon as she tried them on, designer Johana Hernandez, told ET over the phone each and every day after the nuptials. On her behalf first look, Tana wore a curve-hugging all-white Veronica gown with lace detailing and a long, floor-length lace veil. She then switched to a wonderful ruffled Cindy ball gown that featured a white corset-style top with sweetheart neckline and a voluminous pink ombre skirt.

Now, Hernandez is sharing with ET details of how she and Tana created her wedding that is perfect day, the length of time it took to create the dresses and much more!

Entertainment Tonight: Did Tana reach out to you to design the dresses?

Johana Hernandez: The dresses come from my collections that are current. The pink ombre gown, Cindy, was designed for my Paris Fashion Week show after which one other Veronica gown I experienced in my own other collection, and she loved them. I didn’t have even to create something new because she was obsessed with them. Tana is truly the bride that is first has ever worn the pink ombre dress, to make certain that was something exclusive to her. I worked with her stylist named Tyler Lambert after which she came up to my store and she just loved everything. I altered it to her body, because all our dresses are made with the bride’s measurements when she chose the dress.

Did Tana make any special requests, ask for changes when it comes to dresses — or did she stay with the original designs?

No, she stuck because of the original designs and I also thought that was beautiful because usually brides are really specific, especially a celebrity bride, they want to have details that are certain. Tana was very confident about herself. She loved everything. Literally, we tried regarding the the dress that is first then a moment dress and therefore was it. She didn’t try other things. She just loved everything and it was so great. She was very easy to do business with and I also loved that she liked to be extra. She just wished to shine and she likes shiny and sparkles, this is exactly why the first dress was ideal for her. It had been still sparkly but elegant in the time that is same. It had been had and form-fitting lace on it too.

Personally I think like if she could have been safe, she would have appeared to be almost every other bride and she didn’t — and I also genuinely believe that’s why most people enjoy it. She is young so it goes along with her age. I made her dresses form-fitted because she’s curvy, she is busty. She wanted her butt to look great, so I did that from the first dress.

Did she always want two dresses?

No, it just came up because she loved them a great deal that she couldn’t make her mind up, so she chose two. And it actually ended up being the colour theme that she wanted, which was a color that is blush.

The engagement was only per month long, how enough time did you have to produce the dresses?

It was an extremely small amount of time. The great thing was that she loved the collection so I was able to rush it because I experienced to rush the current designs. It absolutely wasn’t me, that was great because as a designer it’s a huge compliment for the client and the brides to love what you do like I was making something that was completely new and, to. I also do custom-made dresses, but I think once they love what you get it done’s just very rewarding.

Just how long was the procedure from the consultation that is first the wedding?

I can not really share that as it was so fast. The thing I can share is that each dress takes about three to half a year to help make. In order that is really what was great, that she chose something which had been through the collection and then everything is hand made.

How dress that is many did she have?

Only one. Directly on the dot. Just one single and she just loved it. I already knew the things I was going to do. I’ve been achieving this for a rather time that is long. You saw her pictures, her dress was very on point, nothing was wrong together with them. It had been just great, and her stylist Tyler was very useful. He’s been working with her for many years and that helped because he already knew her style and knew that I was the right fit for them.

Did any of her family or friends go directly to the fittings?

It had been just Tyler together with assistant. Her schedule is very hectic and busy. Therefore I closed the store she came in very early in the morning for her and. She was so kind, grateful and excited.

Did Jake, her fiance, have any say in her decision making?

It absolutely was just her. Of course, he is not planning to see anything before the wedding.

How did she react when she tried the final dresses on?

She loved it! She was like, ‘I can not believe it!’ She was so happy. Within the pictures as soon as we’re in both the fitting room, clearly that dress was so big on her all over waist and she was already so happy even though it wasn’t fitted. I loved that she was a visionary, she sees it beside what it is. Some brides can not picture the ultimate dress it being perfectly fitted, so that’s why they don’t choose a dress and go back and forth until it’s perfect on them without. And also you can’t own it perfect until it is ordered by you.

Were there any hidden personal items added into the dresses?

All my dresses have inside corsets and bras, so they really snatch your waist. The big ball gowns have an inside petticoat, so she was super comfortable walking even though the dress is super extra from the outside. Everything is corset fitted.

What materials were used on both dresses?

Regarding the ruffled one, that is English mesh and was hand dyed to be ombre asian women near me together with ruffles are made and sewn by hand, therefore it takes months to do all of that work. The fabric doesn’t come like that, you need to create it by dyeing it colors that are different. And also for the Veronica gown, it absolutely was a mesh with shimmer about it and we also had an Italian embroidery that continues on top from it with beards and pearls. Her veil was also ours. Her veil had Swarovski crystals on it and it was a really beautiful lace.

Did Tana have a vision for her dresses or a look she was opting for?

No, she really trusted me and trusted her stylist and went utilizing the flow. She really loved it and there was never any doubt in her mind that people were not the dresses. She was certain of them. Her bride story is amazing and she looked so good and fresh.

Once the designer, that which was your inspiration when designing those two dresses?

For me, I feel like my brides are young and fun, but she actually is still sexy. For Tana, the first dress is for a girl who aren’t afraid to shine, literally. She has her very own style that is personal isn’t afraid to state her personality through her wardrobe, and I believe that’s really necessary for your wedding day. It is necessary on her behalf to feel just like herself and that she’s not a bride that is cookie-cutter. She actually is Tana, she actually is her.

The pink one, it is simply fun and various. A similar thing, she actually is bold but she actually is soft — and at the same time it really is sexy since it has the perfect quantity of cleavage and it has a super train that is exaggerated. I am just inspired by that girl who is not afraid to shine inside and outside.

Hernandez will likely to be presenting her collection that is next Sept at the Ritz Carlton in Paris, France, for Paris Fashion Week.
